New Year Resolutions - 2012
I won't go on and on about Resolutions and how good or bad they are. In the spirit of being present and pro-active, I will just do it.
Here goes nothing.
1.
Leave work at a reasonable time. I love my job, but there are times when I would benefit more from a yoga practice than from an extra hour at work. I just need to set some limits and respect them, for the sake of my health, and my marriage.
2.
Create a regular Moksha Yoga practice. I practiced 89 times at Moksha in 2011. This included 2 x 30 Day Challenges which means I haven't really had a regular practice in 2011. Ideally, I would go every other day but I am not sure it is possible. However, if I maintain the above resolution, it could happen.
3.
Read one book a month. If less time is spent on the internet, I can attain that goal. Books will include fiction and non-fiction. I will even attempt to blog about the books if they are worth it.
4.
Save money every month for an upcoming (undetermined) yoga retreat or training. First take care of credit card, then start saving.
5.
Take a ME DAY every month. This could include something fun like my Chistmas Eve morning (Moksha, Brunch and Manicure/Pedicure), a midday massage or a couch and book day. This will all depend on funds and time availability.
6.
Be in the best shape ever This should include the following sub-goals :
a) Drink 8 cups of water a day
b) Drink 2 cups of green or herbal tea a day
c) Step, Yoga and other workouts to be done to the fullest
d) Eat clean 80% of the time

Have a fantastic 2012!!
